FEM Engineer – Structural Analysis and Simulation
THE POSITION
To strengthen our calculation division, we are looking for a FEM Engineer passionate about simulation and capable of translating numerical data into concrete design decisions.
You will join a technical team where calculation accuracy meets mechanical creativity.
Contract: Permanent position
Work location: Operational headquarters (with flexibility for client-site activities / remote work to be evaluated)
WORK ACTIVITY
- You will perform structural analyses using the Finite Element Method (FEM), including static and dynamic analyses as well as fatigue studies.
- Validation and Optimization:
Your role will go beyond simply running simulations: you will critically interpret results to validate complex components and assemblies. - Engineering Insight:
You will work closely with design engineers to guide the optimization of shapes and materials, ensuring performance and reliability. - Technical Documentation:
You will prepare clear and authoritative analysis reports ready to be presented to decision-makers. - Technical Front-End:
You will interact directly with clients to define calculation specifications and load scenarios.
HARD SKILLS
- Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Toolbox: Strong proficiency with FEM software (e.g. Ansys, Nastran, Inventor/SolidWorks Simulation, or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of solid mechanics, structural mechanics, and CAD modeling.
- Mindset: Strong analytical skills (able to distinguish a correct result from a mesh error), methodical approach, and natural problem-solving attitude.
SOFT SKILLS
